I first heard that phrase at a business and marketing conference in 2012. An unlikely place, honestly. The host said it at the start — almost offhandedly — to put a room full of very different people at ease. There were multi-million dollar business owners in that room. And there were people like me, there on scholarship.
He was quoting strategic business coach Dan Sullivan. And somehow, in that moment, in that room, it landed differently than any phrase had landed before.
I've been living inside it ever since. It's become a foundational belief about what it actually takes to fully live the life you were created to live. I'm writing a book about it. This is where it starts.
Father thank you for truth. Thank you for the opportunity to rest in the truth. And to exist and operate from the truth. Help me to embrace exactly where I am physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, completely — not to stay here but to start here and make progress. Whatever that progress looks like today.
Give me the courage, the confidence, the wisdom, the understanding, the humility and complete ability to do what You want me to do, how You want me to do it. And to NOT do what you don't want me to do.
Help me acknowledge You in everything, be more aware of you everywhen, and follow You as You direct me.
Thank You for the wonderful glorious day ahead of me, the people you'll have me meet, the places you'll have me go, the words you'll have me say, the actions you'll have me take. Help me submit it all to You completely, because You are the truth.
Everything was made for you, through you, and exists because of You, for You. Help me remember Your truths. Above all, help me love you, love people, and love me — with all of me, just as You do. In Jesus name, Amen.
MIT — Move In Truth
Within APSWTT lives a tiny daily habit called MIT. It's not a productivity system or a morning routine. It's a micro-practice of grounding yourself in what's actually true, asking God to reveal what you're missing, and taking one small step from there.
Not perfection. Not a plan. Just a move. In truth.
If this resonates, I'd love to have you with me as it develops. I'll share what I'm learning, what's forming, and what's true — along the way.
You'll also get the free MIT 5-Day Adventure as my way of saying thanks — a practical introduction to the APSWTT framework, one day at a time.

What the 5-day adventure covers
See the complete map, then name the one thing you've been carrying.
Separate how you feel from what's real — and ask God to reveal what's beneath the noise.
Not to solve it. Just to begin it. One text. One file. One thing moved.
You take the step. We talk about what it unlocked.
What becomes possible when this becomes a daily practice.
